Camera School

Camera School Knoxville Photography Class

Update: New Class Announced! It Will Fill Up FAST!

Camera School is a one day photography class at my studio in Knoxville for beginner to intermediate hobbyists wanting to master their DSLRs in a 5 hour course. This day is packed full of information about all the major concepts like lighting, composition and editing.

This course is for those people whose hearts beat a little bit faster with a camera in hand. If you get some good photos every now and then and want to learn more about how to make that happen regularly and with confidence, Camera School is the next step for you.

We’ll hang out from 9-2 on one of the dates listed below and will study the inner workings of the camera so you will be able to fully utilize all of the tools the DSLR offers you.

What good is having an amazing camera if you don’t know how to use it?

We’ll also chat about photographing people – how to pose them and how to capture candid, natural photographs. I’ll even take you through my workflow to see exactly which editing tools I use.

The day is full of hands-on tutorials and class size is SMALL so you will have time to ask specific questions. The class fee is $250, and you will also be given access to the private Facebook group for Camera School graduates to ask questions even after the class.

BETH: I now shoot in manual mode almost all the time. Camera School completely changed the way I take pictures. I bought the lens she recommended and I love it! So glad I didn’t waste money on those other lenses!

ELIZABETH: I learned the perfect combination of tools and confidence with Sarah. Now, when I see that moment that I want to catch, I don’t have to worry about missing it because I am fiddling with my camera. Makes taking pictures so much more enjoyable when you actually understand what’s going on inside the camera. Such an inspiring class.

QUINN: Sarah teaches you fun and useful techniques to work every mode in your camera, as well as how to fix simple mistakes in post processing. Her class taught me many of the skills I needed to capture special moments with my family.

BRIANNE: I am a very visual and hands-on learner and I had done some research on photography online but felt like I was always lacking that teacher/hands-on experience. I got that through camera school. I could ask questions and have them answered all while learning new skills.
